How to prepare:
It is recommended to get the test completed in the morning because TSH levels can fluctuate throughout the day. You are not required to fast but you should wait at least two hours after eating. You can drink pure drinking water (without carbonation or added flavors). Do not drink any alcoholic beverages and avoid strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours prior to the test.
